what does that mean? im trying to copy Halo2 to my HDD and i get an error code 112...

no, i put the game disc in the tray and then i pressed copy game, then it starts to copy and gives me error code 112.
but im pretty sure that the disc is dirty, it came from the rental store here and it dont matter if its busted ill just get my money back

not sure how xbox games work compared to xbox 360, but i dont think you can just insert a game into your dvd and read it...
