I use the "No-Mod ARMAX + USB Pendrive on a V14 Slim PStwo" method to play all my backups. I ultimately use COGSWAP to get my games going, but I was wondering if anyone has successfully converted the 3CD backup of FFVII for PSone to one DVD.

I don't know if this is even possible or whatever, but I'm dying to get this to work or at least to know whether it's worth trying.

I know people have successfully put multiple games on a single DVD, but can you even put single disc PSone games onto a DVD?

Please help shed some light on this dilemma as I'm sure I'm not the only person that is interested. There are tons of Final Fantasy VII fans out there that would appreciate it. Thanks!

Try the link above - I don't know if it works or not, but worth a shot.

I don't think that's possible. It's like trying to load PSX games from the HD: you simply cannot. :-/

PS2 V9 with Custom Flip Top
MC Exploit
ULaunchELF 3.78
HDLoader 0.8a with 160Gb Maxtor HDD

Nintendo GameCube DOL-001
XenoGC 2.0
POTS adjusted to 400Ohms from 496Ohms and runs everything thrown at it

If you strike me down, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.

Yeah, but if we had a PSX game (or a multiple number of them) in a DVD how would we boot it? Breaker Pro? SM?

You wouldn't. Its not possible to put PSX games onto DVD. Once the PS2 is in PSX mode, it only uses the CD reader lens, the DVD reader doesn't come into the equation.
