i have an old plex that has worked awesome, and i was looking around new ones.

why did plex go back to the 2mb cache? mine is 2mb, and the 2005 models were 8mb.. now they went back to 2..

anyone know why, or what the diffeence will be.

The Plex 716a still has the 8mb while the other Plex's now have the 2mb, which I believe is just a cost effective move on the company's part. They can sell their product cheaper. If you want to know the difference between 8mb vs 2mb, here is some info :)
