PC won't recognize picture dvd-r

can anybody think of any reasons why my home RCA DVD player can read a data dvd-r and I can view the pictures on that, but no computer i have tried can? Please help these pictures are very important to me. Thanks.

This is probably not the right forum plus you keep asking this question.

You might try turning off the auto play for the disc drive. When you load the disc this can cause the system to freeze for awhile, masking what might be the underlying problem.
