hello there,
a friend open up his 360 the other day, he did the fwm, but now all the back ups keep creashing after about 10mins of play, but original play fine, my mates abit stressed out about it all, any help or info would be a great help :-) thanks..

its very selective, i used memorex DVD+R DL at 2.4x, and my backups wouldn't work at all. Only the verbatims work for me, too bad they cost a lot, just ordered a pack of 20 for 64 USD on ebay... saves me a little money, but still - they are expensive. At least ther're not 60 dollars like the game titles :D

man shit thats cheap maybe you could send us some over ;-) the cheapest i found over here in the uk is 10pack for £30 which sucks man big time, but like you said its better then a £50 dvd :-)

i got a pack of verbatim DVD + R DL disks for $44.50 USA at best buy it was a really good deal i was surprised because i can find em cheaper than that. i plan on going there in about a week and stocking up just in case they raise em or something.

bummer i got the verbatim disk and tryed one out and the back up crashed after about 5mins, any one got any other idear???? would be great.. thanks :-)

i have no clue whats wrong with your shit. but im using verbatim and its working like wonders for me. you must have a scratched disk that you are tring to backup or something. thats my only guess.

dont think its the disk , i think its more to do with my old very well used burner, going to go and buy a new burner and hopefully that will sort this little problem out hopefully!!!
