there are not really any out there. When they first start up you can get in, but after a very short while they close the sign ups so they can limit the number of people and get better bandwidth speeds for their memebers. Then you need invites.
Any site that doesn't require them, and is not new is pretty much a public site that requires you to sign up.

ya but how come i hear people saying they download games in 2 or 3 hours. all mine so far have taken at least 24 hours. i d/l the ones with the top seeds and peers and i get up to like 100kbs but then it drops to like 10kbs. any suggestions?? a day or two is not that bad i guess but im not the most patient kid

go to the page of the client you use, which i hope is Azureus or
U-Torrent as they are the best, and look at their FAQ's
they will most likely have answers on how to set up the client and get better speeds out of it.
When a game is first out and there are lots of seeds/leeches i have had games in a little over an hour because you can get 300-400KB/s
But that is rare even on private sites. Most sites, especially public one's, you are looking between 8-24hrs depending.
Also depends on your connection, mine is cable so it is pretty good.
my normal for private sites is about 5-10hrs depending on seeds/leeches.

That depends on the upload connections of the peers on the torrent. Your best bet is to find a good private tracker. Wait until the torrent has a high SLR, then, you'll get better speeds.

http://www.blackcats-games.net/ is a good site they have alot of stuff you cant get on other trackers but they need more seeders and they have alot of hit and runs from newbies i think they are closing sign ups soon so join now if you want

www.bitsoup.org is my favourite,not so many ps2 games but good speeds,
erm,cough cough,me mate uploads there from time to time,and has uploaded some stuff on there in the past,and er cough cough,takes requests i think
but like i say,thats me mate,not me,so i cant vouch for him,not on this site anyways.
as for solops,the admin does a good job,
but me mate tells me that he uploaded some stuff there,and it had too many hit and runners,so er me mate,cough,wont be uploading there anymore

must get something for this chesty cough of mine
