Hi I want to know who thinks what of what BT clients.
In the end I will sum up all the comments and decide for myself who the winner is.
Lets get started then, shall we?

BitTornado is a great client, because, great interface, simple quick and fast.

I think Utorrent has to be the worst client after BitLord, because it is slow, not user friendly, takes an age to start, if they start at all, and BitLord is'nt good at all, and should'nt be considered a BT client because, it was built on the C++ foundations and frame works of a early version of BitComet, which had many flaws, bugs and glitches, which means BitLord inherits them as they built it on the frameworks of BitComet, without fixing the bugs, flaws and glitches, another thing, it has been known to have spyware and adware, as far as my knowledge goes, feel free to disagree with me.

BitComet is another great client, though banned by many private trackers, due to its unfair DHT system, it still gets the work done, and in good time, thats why I prefer BitComet for large files.

The official BT client is great, nice speeds, it uses all your bandwidth, therefore surfing is made almost impossible, or surfing becomes pain stakeingly slow, but it does get the job done.
you may agree or disagree with me, please post your views on clients and why you think they are good/bad/neutral/normal/simple/etc.
I look forward to your comments.
Thanks in advance.

i disagree with what u say aba utorrent ive been usin it for ages now and never had a problem with it, always starts up quick altho i leave it on 24/7. i also find it very simple to use and get great speeds from it. it also uses less memory out of them all which is also a bonus, but thats just my opinion

Not to shadow Shauntay, but I concur with everything he said.

I get better speeds with uTorrent than any other BT client. It hardly takes up any memory at all and is by far the easiest client to work with.

As far as starting up and user-friendly, I'm not sure where you're coming from with that. You might've had problems with it, and if so, that was just a fluke! I'd give it another shot if I were you...

You know thanks Jammal10, I have given Utorrent another try and guess what i am experiencing speeds excess of 300kb/s, thats good, but i have experienced up to a thousand kb/s dowload speeds with BitTornado.
I have reconsidered Utorrent and it is in one of my good books now.
this what my good book looks like at the moment;

My Good Book of BT Clients;

BitTornado High chance of winningrating; 5 stars
BitComet Moderate chance of winningrating; 4 stars
Utorrent Good enough chance of winning rating; 3 stars
BitTorrent Slim chance of winning rating; 2 and a half stars

Bad Book;
BitLord slim to no chance of winning rating; -689 stars

i change the ratings and chances as the threadd progresses

also 2 things make sure wen u get utorrent get it from either there homepage or a trusted site, and make sure u set it up properly for ur connection speed it can make a big difference, there is a guide on here that will help a lot.
anotha thing ur speeds will depend on the amount of seeds for what ur d/l the more seeds and less leechers will giv good speeds

At the end of the day its your own opinion that wins it.

My fave client is uTorrent.

Why?

Because its light on the resources, its a tiny app that will do what ever you seek your BT client to do taking minimal memory usage, its also great for learners as it offer's a sleek, simple interface.

The speed you get doesnt matter on the client.

I think the best clients going are uTorrent, Azereus, ABC and BitTornado, I wouldnt leave uTorrent for anything.

Azereus is a resource hog...case closed, but it does offer good features and a sexy Java GUI, BitComment is terrible and is now being banned from most trackers and Bitlord is a spyware infested peice of crap.

ABC and BitTorando are good, they all do the same thing so as I said before its your opinion on them that will win it.

Good luck!

It will always come down to personal preference for what works for you and, in some cases, recommendations. I, personally, used BitTornado for over 1 year but due to connection problems (not the fault of BitTornado), switched to utorrent. Initially, I still preferred BitTornado but now, won't switch back to it.

If you do use uTorrent, make sure that you give DVDBack23's guide (in the User Submitted forum) a try. It has some very good tweaks in there.

Your comments could decide the fate of your favourite client.
its not my views that count its yours.
and thats why i am asking all you for your comments ok.

ok to the matter at hand.
My comments on Utorrent
I see what all the hype is about now! uTorrent is fab, but i still like BitTornado better, a good thing about uTorrent is that it realy has a friendly user interface.

I didn't feel like reading all the posts, so sorry I'm reiterating anything.

I started out using BitComet, and it worked, but not as well as I knew was possible. I then began a search of recommended clients. I narrowed it down to Azureas and utorrent, and decided on utorrent due to its minimal resource usage.

After 3 or 4 weeks of using utorrent, I am content. It is a rather easy interface, and I almost always download at my connection's maximum. Uplaod is even better for me, I usually maintain a maximum upload, and typically spiking 10 Kb/s past my max.

The only difficulty I had with it was configuring it. I had to read numerous guides to configuration and finally found out my firewall was blocking the utorrent port, but this had nothing to do with the client itself. In fact, my issue would have been the same no matter what client.

So in the end, I have settled down quite pleasantly with utorrent, although I cannot compare it to others except BitComet.

I'm still confused about why anyone would care how the previously-banned domo origato's client race winds up?

This seem's more of a game than an discussion (No offence BluRay),I'm sure you can get usefull info out of it but thats whay I think, this should be requested to go into the safety vavle so none of the post's count to a promotion.

Just my 2 cents.

can you just tell me how to access the safte valve because i dont now how to navigate my way to there!
apart from clicking on the links in my email.

I started out with BitTornado and it was great. But it had MAJOR problems:
1) you had to open 1 instance of the program for every torrent you download or seed
2) it was a memory hog

I went with uTorrent and there is no comparing. It small, fast, requires no install, can download unlimited torrents and is no resource hog. I'm not quite sure how you can say those things about it in your initial post coz it's the exact opposite of that.

Just go in and configure it properly and you will have no problems at all.

Yo Morphy, i take a note of what you said, thanks for your comments yeah.
but i woud like to argue that BT is not a resource hog.
I use it all the time and it doesnt actualy use that much resources, anyway thats me.
I agree with you on your first point though.
and Utorrent is great, the fact that you can download unlimited torrents aint a good thing, because i believe the more torrents you are downloading the slower the speed gets for each torrent because your bandwitdh has to be shared out amongst the torrents, the most torrents i have going at the same time is two or three and thats only if they have lots of seeders and leechers.
UTorrent fans may want to know that it has a GREAT chance of winning
Haters and Mega Haters of BitLord, the spyware client, has NO! chance of winning.

@ tycobb, i am doing this to see what people THINK of clients, and at the end i will pick a winner, so keep your posts coming, thank you, i will pick the winner on wednesday or tuesday depending on the amount of posts that come in.
