I have a DVD Burner, an External DVD±RW Burner. It's a Addonics/Pioneer and I used it once before, but now on Nero, if it detects at all, it says it's in use, or (On Nero System Info) says it is locked. Has anyone else had this problem and how can I fix it?

Oh, and to specify which Nero it is, it's Nero OEM Suite that came with the burner itself.

This can cover almost any version of Nero, go to StartSmart, look in info tools and you will see which version it is.

Some versions in both Nero6 and Nero7 contain bugs, so when we know your version further info can be given

Thanks, but I figured out what was wrong. The OEM Suite requires you to install the whole disc to recognize the burner for some reason, but now I'm having trouble burning. My computer freezes if I burn anything, I tried burning an ISO, that is over 2 Gigs.

As I said you have to be careful with Nero, some versions are buggy and causing problems, which version are you using, open StartSmart, go to info tools and it will tell you.

Never mind, I just realized this was a DOUBLE POST
