i have some kyphermedia dvd+r"s. do u think they would be good for ps2 games?

I've never heard of those... what you can do is burn a disc using the normal procedure (link in my sig. if you don't know what I mean), then use Nero CD-DVD Speed and run the quality test in there and see what score you get.

i agree, never heard of them. Not meaning they are bad, but most likely they are.
Philips, Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden are my top 3 picks (8X DVD-R)
have heard Sony & Maxcell are good if made in Japan

Ive heard of them. Theyre the ones I always see on sale at local electronic stores. From what I hear, theyre garbage. For burning PS2 games, youll want Either Sony or Verbatim (I often see Verbatims 50 for $15). Also, you said your disks were DVD+R. Note that you need DVD-Rs for PS2.

Yes they are garbage. Never used them, never will, go with 8x Taiyo Yuden's or Verbatim's for best results.
