PSX Backup on PS2

Okay so I want to play my backups of FFVII and FFVIII PSX on my PS2. I've burned the discs and now I dont know what to do. What do I use to boot this up? If there's a boot CD of some kind, can I use a downloaded copy of it? I dont have the money at the moment to buy these things.. I have Swap Magic 3.6 CD and DVD to load up the psx boot cd. Can anyone tell me what I need to get now? And also if possible a PM or Post for a download link (torrent) and step by step instructions?

if you have an orignal copy of gameshark for the psx you can use that as a boot disc thats what i do. to make it work go to start game without codes when you swap the discs dont press eject you have to use the fliptop or the slide tool that came with your swapmagic.

You need breaker pro to play PS1 backukps, swap magic won't work, and you can't load breaker pro with swap magic because it itself is a PS1 disc

Hmm I see thanks for the help you two =) Can anyone tell me where I can get the cheapest copy of any psx boot disc? I dont mind about cheats I just want to play backups.

Also 1 more thing, Ihave a slimline and I read something about a memory card exploit to load psx games? Can anyone tell me more about this?

Not sure where you would buy one as I never did, but have a search around the net.

Memory card exploit only works on the old PS2 and not the slim ones, so unfortunately it's modchip or swap magic+breaker pro for you

I have a fat ps2 just need to change 1 thing on the inside then it will boot up again.. Can you give me information on this?

i have some backed up psx games but my psone has shit the bed, and i have a InterAct 1104CDX gameshark along with swap magic 3.6 and slide tool. Just wondering how to load up the backups with what i have, if at all possible, and if not possible, what else do i need?

Also Stealth said he has a backup of final fantasy VII and i was just wondering if games with multiple discs can be played properly using a swap method, because i recall reading somewhere that you can't switch between the discs since they are copies and ejecting them and entering the new one won't work.

For FFVII, if I remember correctly you can save at the end of a disc then it asks for the next disc. You can restart the psp but put the next disc in and the save game at the end of the disc before should load up on the new disc.. a bit confusing but it should work
