Ok just bought a ds lite and want to get into the homebrew seen mostly just to play ds, gba roms, and watch movies.

I just ordered the: M3 Adapter CF w/ Passkey2
http://www.divineo.com/cgi-bin/div-us/dd-ds-m3cfp2

Is this all I need other than the CF card, and does it matter which brand I get?

I got so confused from reading all these forums!

Yes that will work, but - why the CF version? thats gonna really stick out from the DS Lite.

And any CF brand should work, as long as it's Type 1 media, CF Type 2 cards work, but do not fit in the M3.

Ah, i see, yeah I use Linux on my CF version, Linux does support SD, but it's limited as far as it is read-only.

You need a card reader to put the files on your CF card, though these are cheap so it shouldn't be that much trouble.

Ok so I just ordered the CF Scan Disk 1 gig for 30 bucks. I can't seem to find a card reader for no cheaper than $10 though plus shipping close to $17. Ok now im being a pain what extra hardware would I need other than cf cards if I want to emulate other peoples ds(they have the first models)? And thank you for all the quick responses!

All I would need is an extra PassKey2 and a CF card to emulate an extra ds since I would already have the M3 right?

No, If you want to do the setup on another DS, you need another M3 and another CF card. You can Flash your current DS using FlashMe, then use the passkey on the second DS

I've already done all my research on all this man. This is what you want and what you need.

1. M3 SD or Mini SD Adapter
2. (whatever GB/MB you choose of a SD card)
3. M3 Passcard 3
4. A Sandisk Reader/Writer (I prefer the 4 in 1's out there)
5. Nintendo DS/DS Lite

You want M3 man cause of no slowdows and 100% GBA compatablity.
