asx is the same with asf.
Wondershare Video to iPod Converter support asf fromat.
You can convert asx videos to be on iPod with it.

asx is the index of the Microsoft Streaming Media
It is used to record the URL and method of asf,wmv etc.
Converter which supports .asf is also supports .asx.
My explanation is not clear. You can google it for more info. :)
