Hi All,

I've just had it up to hear with my sister and her excessive download flaunts and i get blammed for it. Now that I got that off my chest.

My Question is this.

Is there a program that I can use to deactivate other applications from other computers within my network, without getting up from my PC.

This is my home network and no one elses. Any ideas would be greatly apprecaited.

She activates torrents soo thats why it slows down the connection to other PC's on the network and the reson i posted in this room.

Well, some more info on how your network is set up would be good, like, is there a main computer, or do you use a router to handle all traffic?

As for possible answers, there are several softwares that enable bandwidth limiting...
Or you could just use a remote administration software and take control over all systems in your network, and make sure she doesn't have the option of downloading at all ;-)

Well, you have the remote admin console, and a "server".
you put the server file on your sister's computer, and take controle of it from your console.

Keep in mind that most admin tools are considered hacking toolZ/Trojans, so unlees you get your hands on Radmin, you'll be dealing with some very iffy software, not to mention most of them are illegal in a lot of countries.

Lol. If you have a router, log in, change the default password, and remove her port forwarding, and/or specifically ban the application/port.
