Hi everybody.It seems there is a problem with the emule shareware program.I have downloaded it without problems and installed it to my p.c, after having some connection problems with edonkey.
However,I am not able to get connected to any server, although I can normaly run the program.I am having problems in connecting to the net throughout any shareware program(except shareaza). Is there something wrong with my settings or someone else had also had to deal with this problem ?
Any ideas? thanx

do you have a router running on this pc?
are your ports open so you can communicate with there servers.
Did you connect to KAD

Hi there, i have the same problem and as kostaskil . except that i am able to connect to all the servers but i always get low id i dunno really know where the problem lies since i have forwarded both ports through my router and the XP firewall i am also running eMule Xtreme mod.

Thx for any info i would deeply appreciate it.

how did you set up the gateway and xp firewall although you have set it to allow data to flow through will block it.

You dont need to run it if you are using a router anyway


I found that with my netgear i more or less turfed it and just had normal virus protection running with a usb modem.I have a high id with emule.

Also how much do you share is also taken into account
