PIONEER DVR-108 failed to burn CD

I tried burning an AVI data cd through Nero express 6 and it spat it back at me around 50% (I tried twice the same thing and then once I made an image and tried to burn that). Here is the error log:

Ok I'll take one thing at a time. First of all it works so thank you for your help! I got my hands on Nero 7 Platinum and I installed that after uninstalling (and cleaning the Nero Clean Tool) Nero 6. Next I updated my firmware. I tried burning the CD and long and behold it worked.

So what about this DMA thing. Looks kinda complicated in the guide. Do I need it if it works otherwise ?

I do not have ANY kind of roxio thing on my computer .. I don't know where Nero got that from.

I've been using the TDK discs for about 3 years now and I never had any problems with them. I watch AVI movies from 2 years ago on an almost daily basis and they work.

Anyway thanks for your help!

So I downloaded that Roxio zapper thing and it uninstalled some stuff I didn't even know I had. Nero works so whatever. Cheers and thanks again!
