I've been reading about the importance of changing the bit settings for 360 games. I have a Samsung SH-S162A. Is that good enough? I'll buy another burner if I have to. I was wondering what's the best burner I can get for $100 or less?

i have a samsung and i use the lg h10n, it works perfectly and i spent 42 dollars on it.

Oh ok thanks. I found out I can change the bit setting with my current drive. So I'm going to try a burn with that 1st and test it when I can. I'm still waiting on my PCI SATA card to arrive so can do the firmware hack on my 360.

I have a LG drive, i change the FW from A103 TO A105, and the games i burned on it, don`t work for me.
Anyone know if a LG burner is good for the Hitachi drive?

i dunno bout the lg but i here the pioneer 111d are good..you can prolly get 1 from 35 to 45 Dollar range..and just wonderin any body have succes with lite on dual layer burner on a hitachi drive
