I can't back this movie up. DVD Shrink gets the cyclic redundancy error, DVD Decrypter freezes up, dvd fab decrypter freezes up, and my trial of AnyDVD is up. The disc is not dirty or scratched. I'm surprised this movie is goving me so much trouble, since it's older. Has anyone successfully copied it and how? Thanks.

Which CloneDVD? I saw a couple different programs by that name. The one I tried said it couldn't copy the disk because it's copyrighted.

CloneDVD by elaborite bytes and available from slysoft software will not backup encrypted movies. In order for the programs to work you must have AnyDVD running in the background or rip first using the free DVDFab Decrypter, then Clone will compress and burn. If you are getting CRC errors try cleaning your disk, it is probably scratched/smudged/damaged, DVDFab should be able to handle this.

dvdfab 2979 version handled underworld evolution i dont see why it would not handle this older movie

Nevermind. I figured out why the movie won't copy. It has a giant scratch on it. I tried watching it on three different players and it skipped in the same spot every time. Should have checked that first I suppose. Thanks every one for your help.
