Does any one know how to fix the freezing after the intro of Midnight Club Dub Edition?

Are you talking about an original or backup copy? Need more info - what media did you use, how did you burn the game, what speed did you burn. Try rebuilding the game.

It's an original PS2 version of the game. It used to work and suddenly stopped. I only get the intro now.

Either your disc is scratched or your laser is dying, try cleaning the game disc and also the laser lens and see if that helps

Tooth patse works very well. I am not kidding i used it to fix prince of persia two thrones, GTA san andreas and killzone. Now they work fine. You juts have to smear the tooth paste over some of the major scratches.

If its just the disc that's the problem, then DiscDR would fix any scratches etc.. http://www.pinpointce.co.uk

OK I have an old san andreas original for PS2(of course I have the original or why would I care about backing it up when its this old).
I cant backup mine as its scratched in a crucial data reading point (I have tried using CDCheck to extract it with no success).
I borrowed a freinds which isnt scratched and backed it up and burned it to a TDK DVD+R with dvd decryptor.
The disk loads fine with swap magic when selecting PAL and SPECIAL BOOT.
However, when it goes to load when you leave cj's house, or any major change that it needs to load alot of data for, it takes a very long time to load.Does anyone have any suggestions why this happens.

Just re-burn it ( better use Alcohol 120% ) with lower speed ( try 4X )

I Have just cleaned the lense and ajusted it. If it ain't the disk that is scratched or messed up then would you know where to adjust the lense to? I wipe the disk everytime I try it. The disk is not scratched either. And if all of this stuff doesn't work than how do I reburn it and could i reburn it with out a cd burner?

I think you need to rebuild this game first if you want to make a copy of it. Use DVD Decrypter (tutorial here: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/353503) and use good media, personally I use Ritek DVD-R 8x and never have problems with it
