i downloaded something that made my xp look like vista. i didn't like the program so i removed it. now my start bar and things look like windows 2000 :S can someone help me put it back to looking like just regular xp pro :) i tried properties apperience but it didn't work :S please help me ^_^

Try this and see if it helps. Right click on the Start Button, select Properties. Click on the Start Menu tab. Select the top radio button. Post your results.
