Hello,

My first post.
What is the best way to detect, if an audio CD has a copy protection? I don't want to rip the songs or anything - I just want to put a CD in my computer and use some program to tell me, if the CD has some form of copy protection or not. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to aD
The only program I know of to tell you if copy protected and what kind is AnyDVD. Not free but has a 21 free trial. Great program!! Handles all copy protections - CD & DVD.
The other great thing about it is it will stop Sony's DRM rootkit found on some cd's.
