i have seen a lot of stuff about oppening ports but i cant because i am not the administrator and i aint gonna see him for another 2 months and my download speed is 6bps on bit torrent but on limewire it is 60kbps.
can someone help.

Well normally I wouldn't because it's the admins router.But I will go ahead and tell you...You basically don't have the password for the web based utility huh? Ok every router is different but There should be a reset button on it somewhere and you may need a tooth pick too.

Reseting it will delete any password associated with the router,The password will be set back to it's default user name and password.Now go to the router makers website and download an e manual and it will tell you the default user name and password.It will also tell you how to access the web based utility.Armed with this go and put in the default username and password and you'll be in!

Now just follow the guide and forward the port.

I will warn you that since you don't know the password you can't put it back in ,But you could lie and say the power went out or some crap like that.
