I have a puilips gogear mp3 player and it has been given me some problems. its not really mine but its my uncle's and i thought i could fix it. well when it turns on all i see is the philips logo on the screne. i try pressing the menu botton but nothing works. it just displays the philips logo. it does not turn off i have to reset it but that still does not work. i connected it to the computer, try veiwing the files but got an error message which said the files are currupted or unreconized. i tried upgrading the firmware but it does not reconize the mp3 player. at the task bar it says it is safe to remove device which shoudnt be there because i didnt disconnect it. i had a similar problem with a flash drive but rectified it when i downloaded the driver off the web. could this ba driver problem because windows reconizes it as a mass storage device.

any sugession offered would be really apreciated.
