I am having a problem burning saved pictures from my computer onto a CD using Nero, I add all the files etc and when it starts to burn it pops the disk out and says need disc CD-R R/W I am using a CD-R which is empty and fresh out of the package. I have no problems burning DVDs but just cant figure this one out. I have tried to burn as an image as a data etc

Hello ptlkmg.

Post the section of your Nero burn log that concerns the burn you attempted. Each burn log begins near where the program serial number is displayed in the log. Be sure to delete the serial number before posting.

The log is the following path.

Nero 6: Program Files > Ahead > Nero > NeroHistory
Nero 7: Program Files > Nero > Nero7 > Core > NeroHistory

I am having trouble finding the Nero history section, I went into the Nero home but cant seem to find anything where can I find the history so I can post my problem.

Hello ptlkmg.

If you did a standard installation, the history file should be in one of the paths I specified above, depending upon whether you have Nero 6 or Nero 7. You could also enter "NeroHistory.txt" into the WinXP search function and search for a file by that name.

1. Open the hard disk.
2. Open the Program Files folder
3. Open the Ahead folder if present (this is Nero 6) or the Nero folder if present (this is Nero 7).

4. If you opened the Ahead folder in #3, now open the Nero folder, and locate the file named NeroHistory. Double click this file to open the log.

5. If you opened the Nero folder in #3, now open the Nero7 folder. Open the Core folder. Locate the file named NeroHistory and double click to open the log.
