I am buying a new laptop and I need to make sure it has a dual layered dvd writer. Can you tell me if this has one. I have asked the seller but he has not responded. Hoping to get a quicker response here.

well after 1 search on google(less then 5 minutes), i've come up w/ the answer that it does Dual Layer(accordiing to optical drive specs), there's your answer, and please try searching for technical specs like that if they included the model on it. but always try to wait for a sellers response. (as of this post it has 6days left)

edit #1) also it's an 'obsolete' model, it's been discontinued and replaced. (replacement = Sony Vaio VGN-TX2XRPB)

Ive checked it out and theres not much difference in the laptops apart from the price.

What do you think of it, am i wise going for a 11.1 inch monitor. I could get a different model with 17 screen for about the same price.
