Any one know what burners exactly burn working backups and with wich media and they work on a hitchi flashed firmware drive? kus this is a pain in the a**

Hey zip... what media are you using? It's the Verb. DVD+R DL that you want to use. And how are you getting your backups? With the Hitchi you can't just rip an iso and burn it to a DL. You have to insert the ss which you can't get with the Hitchi.

yea i got verbs but when i burn i know my dumps are good kus i got thess but they dont work kus the burner

Hi

I had an LG burner wich nothing worked from what i burned. i got a Pioneer DVR-111D and what i burn now works like a charm. I am using Verbatim DVDR+DL, i reccomend of burning on X1 speed and not 2.4, becuase it sometimes wont load, only after another try or two.

I've read that most seem to be having the best burns using the Pioneer 111. I've also read that the Hitachi seem to have a little more of a problem reading than the Samsung. BUT.. I don't know if that's due to them using bad media/burner.

Newegg.com has the Pioneer on sale for $37 and free shipping. I've used them alot and have had no problems what so ever.

Over at xbox-scene that is what everyone has been saying, that the pioneer drives are for some odd reason just about the only burners that burn hitachi comatible burned games. They also found out tricks to make games load from other burners, like the HDD trick and the av cable trick, so that makes people notice that it is not the drive that is less tolerant, but the firmware seems to put the security sector at a spot that the hitachi doesnt like, which times out the drive trying to read it, as this is why those tricks work as they give the drive a little extra time to read the disk.
