Look at the screesshots of Zelda: Twilight princess and madden nfl 07...the graphics are worse than current consoles!! I hope this changes before their actual release...
P.S.
I don't mind the wii being inferior (graphics wise) to both the 360 and ps3 but to the current gen of consoles?!! (ps2, xbox, gamecube/maybe not ps2)
I was not at all impressed by their graphics...Iwata should change his mentality from "Forget about the graphics...innovation is all that is needed." to "A slight improvement on the graphics to surpass all current gen consoles and innovation is all Wii needs to own the other consoles..."
If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

graphics are never at their full potential while a game is in development, they get the mechanics all set before they do most of the polishing

@s3a it is true though i mean the wii is only gamecube 1.75 so at first i think that the games will not look as good as current gamecube games at first

Hi, Can someone give me some convincing evidence and feedback why Wii is better than ps3 cuz my friend thinks that wii is a joke with the remotes and that ps3 owns it so if anyone can help me to get him 2 stfu please help~

yeah like the video i saw from that tennis game ,it doesnt even compare to lauch box(i mean game cube) it looks more like Kidtendo 64 graphics to me totally patethic ,but thats what they like. they say its all about the gimmick.
the allmighty mudearies...

"better" is in the eye of the beholder, but I can tell you that they will be pretty different. Different enough, I think, to merit purchasing both systems and experiencing what both have to offer.
But just call your friend a fanboy for arguing with you about the ps3 vs wii in the first place.

besides holding soem game series to thier respictive console the Wii will focuse more on kids and teens befor the age of 17,the PS3 will have some kid,some teen and soem adult (17+) games.
Other noteworthy thing about nintendo thier games tend to be better built (gamepaly and codeing wise).
Altho even with that said they love to piss FPS gamers off but fcking with the controlls to metroid....my god is full aiming and binding of keys so fing hard you morons.......altho you can say that about any FPS on the consoles only a few games let you config the pad to your needs not mindless presets that only are useful to a select few....

if starcraft ghost comes to wii, all other consoles will be on the verge of defeat... (not defeated tho...)

Metroid Prime's are good (apparently) xept u cant aim like a fps, which is sooo f***ing annoying, metroid prime 3, will change that "f***ing annoying" part.
When the guy said "better" he meant in the overall..a console can't be better than the other console at everything...if that happens then blame global warming...lol...jk

If Nintendo somehow would get blizzard to make starcraft Ghost an exclusive, than it would be well worth Nintendo's investment.
That's about as likely as Blizzard announcing development for Starcraft 2, though.
And I still don't consider Metroid Prime a full fps. It's like fps/adventure.

Yeah I think it's just you man cause he Wii graphics look a lot better than gamecube. Also when the Wii sells like crazy and it turns out "not" to be a gimmick, you will eat your words mudearies!!!

Haha, let's hope so for the Wii's sake. As for the graphics, some games do look a little rough, but I'm sure they'll improve over the gap between now and their release. By the way has anyone played that Mario soccer game on GC. Looks like a blast considering the world cup fever going on at the moment!

Mario sucks!! (no offense to any1 but thats just my opinion)the only games I can "accept" seing his face in is NBA STREET V3 and the Super Smash Bros. Series...

Mario dose suck,and Mario 64 was the start of the down fall altho it dose most thigns right the powerups were all wrong and now we have Sunshine as the "best" exsample of mario..it blows....I want a true 3D mario not this hyper off the wall BS hes been puling out of his ass latelty...heres a thouhgt a 3D mario with him haveing most of the attacks from 64 plus the powers ups of SMB and SMB 3 with large lush worlds like SMW or SMB3 OMG you could call it inoovation to make a TRUE 3d version of a classic game ><
Metroid Prime is great but its not a "FPS" its a AFPS (Adventure Frist person shooter) the controll sheme is from ZELDA bascily..whitch suxs but the games are good

ghost was caned for a reason 1 its not WOW,2 blizzard was bought out,3 blizzard suxs now adays....(at least untill they release D3 or SC3 or WC4 and the games are nice and polished gameplay wise ,WC3...was weak....its AI...dumb....)
Near the end it loked abit better than Renegade,I guess the Corprate backers lost intrest when it went from a 3rd person ass cam game to a fps.......

hell I have seen some DOOM TC's for D3 that make me want to pick up a copy..the game itself might blow but the TCs almst make it worth it..altho I am on dailup...a 100-500MB TC hurts to downlaod.....
Its a shame FPSers everywhere would worship Samus and Metroid if they took the fiing time to have ti have full fps controlls....nintendo never dose think out things fully....altho I blame retro more..but then knowing nintendo they probly told retro not to give full control abilty to gamers.....I made a thread on gamespot forums,Controlling the controls about Metorid and otehr games lack of haveing costmizable controlls...got nothign but flames...becuse it seems the morons there are spoon feed directly from the tit of the coperations ><

WC3 was not all that whitch kinda pissed me off,I ahte it when they think people wil be blinded by graphics and overlook gaepaly issues...try palying SC and WC3 at the same time the AI on SC is evil it constaly looks for holes in your streadgies WC3 9 times out of 10 uses the same 1 or 2 paths to get to you its kinda sad,them milking WOW is also annoying,Now that I recall I think GHost is on perma hold not "canned" becuse dev time took it so close to the realse of the enw systems they might be overhualing the grapics for the newer systems,it seems every bit the medicore game corpations love to spend lots of money on sicne we gamers cant get it it probly could be the ebst FPS/3rd person shooter game yet *L*

yeah wc3 really pissed me off. actually, blizzard in general pisses me off. I liked WC2, but diablo and wc3 havn't come near to being as quality as starcraft and brood war. WoW is a waste of time, and it looks like starcraft fans will continue to be ignored for at least another year.

meh Diablo 1 and 2 are ok and definatly in the top 5 of all time Action RPGs,however it would have been better if they thought soem thigns out fully..like dodgeing ....siting in one spot and getting hit dosent make much since(revanet was a cute little 3D,Daiblo clone it used a gamepad and did soem intresting thigns gamepaly wise).
WC3 is jsut weak AI wise,I liked the Hero focus of it but it was kinda limited....,WOW is ok as MMOs go if you can stand MMOs *L*
WOW and POS are the most fun MMOs I have palyed,COH was ok till they screwed it over COV is ok but soon to be nerfed,GUild wars is ok,FF11 is pure BS.
