by using this information and using the no cpu check patch that someone devoloped you can run aperture on a intel single core processor with 512 megs of ram by using this info you can set aperture to run with 256 megs of ram instead of requiring 1 gig you can also use the plist info file listed in here to modife the screen settings so instead of aperture requiring 800x1240 you can set it to 800x600 by changing the last line in the file listed
