Well today I got a package in the mail. A package i've been waiting for a week... Inside it was Passkey2 and also a CF to GBA converter...
I've been reading a few tutorials on the net and decided to have a go at it. I downloaded PassKey2 V4.rar (i also tried it with passkey2_v3.rar with no luck) and unzipped the contents into my computer... Then I uploaded K2_RAM04.gba file into my CF card, popped the CF card into the converter, and popped the converter into the GBA slot of my Nintendo DS (firmware version 4... Wich means 2 yellow screens, right?). I turned on the NDS, chose "start GBA game" and chose the K2_RAM04.gba file. Then I proceeded to "register" the passkey thingie as I read I was supposed to do... My original game was Nintendogs, Labrador and friends (don't ask) and the 4 letter code was AD3P. I do all that hoohaa and then I put the game in the Passkey2, put the passkey2 into the NDS game socket and turn on the power... I get the welcoming screen and that annoying "bling" sound you get each time you turn on your DS... But that's it.. Doesent go further than that, instead I get 2 white screens... So i turn off the machine, take out the Passkey2 along with the nintendogs game, do the whole "registering" thingie again, but this time, I put the passkey2 (and the game attached to it) inside the NDS BEFORE i power off. Then i turn it off, and turn it back on.. Then it takes me further... The welcoming screen and the "bling" sound and it then shows me what files I have in my CF card... I had uploaded a few .nds files (you know those... "backup" files) in there so I chose one of them... Then it begins loading with the countdown. It loads all the way to the end but then, again, 2 white screens... And that's where it stops...
I'm really sorry for my first post here being a "HELP ME" post but I've nowhere else to go and I've been at this for the past 4 hours :D
My NDS hasn't been flashed or anything. I don't even know what it means... Do I have to do this?
Oh and about the Passkey2... There's 2 parts in the box... Does the other part (the bigger one wich is flat) have to be plugged in somewhere also? I can't find a place for it anywhere since my CF to GBA converter is taking up the GBA slot...
Please help me... And address me as if you were addressing a 4 year old, because I don't know much of these terms :D Everything I've learned about this NDS, I've learned today... Wich isn't much...
The passkey is switched to "passkey2" so that can't be the problem :/
