I use Nero Ultra 7 and want to burn a bunch of cartoon episodes onto a 4.7GB dvd. If i opt to burn with standard play I can only fit about 4 shows. I would like to double that amount. Does anyone know if the video quality would be greatly reduced or noticeably reduced if I burned with extended or long play?

Over 3 hours of video on a disk and you'll definitely notice the loss of quality imo. 2 - 3 hours of video will probably be acceptable. Use a RW disk and try different amounts and see what's acceptable to you.
