Problem with PCI-SATA card from ACARD.

Hello everybody! First post here so please be gentle!

I bought a PCI-SATA card from ACARD trying to do the firmware hack but all i get in dos mode is 4@4@4@42424@4@(and many more) and then <<ATAPI>> (I Don't have a problem with the HD. It shows up correctly). Ofcourse windows don't recognise it. I have the Hitachi 47D dvdrom and here's the msinfo of my card:

Forgot to mention that the chipset is from Acard itself.
I bought the connectivity kit wich is so cool! but still the same!
Can someone check with hex editor if i can use it by editing mtkflash, or should i through it away and buy a new one???

Thanks a lot for your quick help bastien86, you're my best friend now!!! :) The edit worked perfectly! it showed me primary master, slave etc but after i press a number it freezes. I tryed the same again and again but no luck! i tryed hotswaping nothing. I tryed to power up the drive when i was in the dos promt but nothing. Sometimes when i press a number it goes straight in another line starting with A: but yet nothing.Also one time when i pressed 2 for primary master, a number (2) started flashing on top of my screen but again nothing! In the floppy i have only two files MTKFLASH.EXE & MTKFLASH.TYP. I also typed the commands you told me mtkflash r /sata m orig.bin. Any ideas??? Please

do not power no the xbox untill you are at a:\, double check bios for RIAD and make sure it is set to disabled. when thats done get back to me.

DON"T USE THE CONNECTIVITY KIT!

restore the xbox to original condition, to the pt where you take the screws out and pull off the case... now that your xbox drive is hooked up like it originally was... use a sata cable to connect the xbox to the mobo on your computer... thats all you need is a sata cable... don't power on the xbox untill at a:\ now.

I did everything you said, grounded my xbox with pc case, drive still inside the xbox sata cable to the card, removed all atapi devices from computer, when in A: power up the xbox then typed mtkflash r /sata m orig.bin, recognised only the two ports of my sata card primary and master but in most cases when i press 1 after 1 or 2 secs It shows up A: Aand hangs. Otherwise it hangs straight from the menu which one to choose, master or slave.
More info:
1)I have the HITACHI 3120L - 0047DH
2)When in dos mode it sais Master VIA 8237 and the same for slave. Is this correct? How do u know i have a VIA Chipset? All i see from the card it says ACARD.
3)From bios i can change the settings for the card, only if i hook up a HD and it is in master.
