Hello to all. This back-up is acting a little strange. It seems that everyone did this game pretty easily. My back-up seemed to work fine, until I had to use any of the buttons. Select, start, any of the action buttons, none of them work. I can move around and move the camera, but that's about it. I've never had anything like this happen before. Any ideas? BTW I use genuine 4x TY DVD-R at 2x. I have Sony DVD+R (set to ROM) I could use but they code-up as TY anyways. Thanks in advance.

sounds more like a problem with your controller than the game... I assume the controller works fine with other games though?

try a different controller, if that does not work then it has to be your back up disc.
Try the sony +R booktyped to DVD-Rom

Yeah, sorry, I forgot to post that I checked the connections and tried a different controller, to no avail. I know better than to not tell you guys stuff. Geez :)

Hmm ok do what steimy suggested and try a different media then... also try the game on a friend's PS2 and see if it works

Yeah, I'll try it as soon as I'm off work. However, none of my friends have a modded PS2. I don't understand why, but they don't. BTW The original works fine.

if the original is fine then it'll be problem with the backup I guess. If that doesn't work give rebuilding a go and see if it helps

I backed up this game too and i had the same problem. in the first level when you have to open a door at the beginning (i think it was a door, idk but it was an action). it said press X to "blah blah" and when i pressed it, nothing happened. Even though i burned it on a memorex....im gonna reburn it on a ritek and see if that changes it, but if not then idk the game is like retarded.
