I'm looking for some recommendations for the PS2. I want some games that are really similar to Splinter Cell. It has to be a 3rd person game like Splinter Cell with the same kind of basic storyline - steath focussed, basically.

Any ideas?

The Hitman series is as close as you can get to having a great stealth game. IN my opinion it is more stealthier then any splintr cell game. It's 3rd person and it has all kinds of weapons you can murder people with. I would go with Hitman blood money the last and best in its series.
