If I was to purchase a European DS lite and bring it to the US, would I be able to use the charger packed with a US DS lite to charge the European one?
If not, I understand that I would have to get an adapter for it. What about if I bought a US-spec battery for it, instead of the Euro-spec one?
If the only reason you want a black DS is for appearance, take a look at Decalgirl.com and browse through the skins. I've gotten a few there and they look great. Had a hell of a time putting it on my DS though. They're vinyls, so they don't rely on adhesive, meaning no sticky residue if you mess up placing it or decide to remove it.

Thanks for the info. You won't believe it but about 20 mins after posting that I remembered that site, so I checked it out. Picked up the Retro Lite skin :) No need for the black ds lite anymore.. since the retro skin looks pretty cool
