Need help remembering name of PS1 game! Please help!

There was a game I used to play religously on PS1 and forgot the name of it. Here is the best description I can give you. I guess the genre would be strategy. The character you play is like a covert operative or undercover agent or something. The levels are set up where you have to sneak by the enemy and reach the end of the maze like level. You can sneak up behind the enemy and choke them out, you can peek around corners, crawl, etc. The game was very in depth and the levels of course got harder as you progressed. For the life of me I can't remember! Any help is appreciated.

sorta sounds like metal gear solid... I got a game that I need the name of too... It was a Jap volleyball game and there were teams of 3 and each team had specialized spiking moves eg. team brazil would spike with soccer moves like bicycle kick, scissor kick, etc.
