I have a slim ps2 and I'm trying to get that "best" media that the ps2 will take w/o lagging and stuff. I bought some ty's DVD-R from rima.com. my ps2 does play them but not as good as verbatim. but does it really matter if I buy DVD-R or DVD+R???

the slim should play either, i prefer DVD-R and the verbatims and Taiyo Yuden should both work great. My slim will play either just fine if they are burned correctly.
