i am wondering if you have downloaded something from a private tracker and its 100% and you stop the task but do not remove it and later on sart to upload that finished task as a seed will that get your share ratios up?

All private trackers will credit you with any uploading data period! If you open up IE and go to your site while the torrent is operating, you can re-fresh and you will see your upload ratio increase. You have to be careful with stopping and restarting though, ...periodically all trackers remove files from counting toward ratios and you don't want to miss chances to keep the ratio even. My advice is just be patient and seed 100% before disconnecting! On the subject of public trackers, they log your Ip and know what you download and how much. Periodically as well they may publically ban you for not contributing, via a peer guardian list!

its always good to seed a torrent to 1.1 and then stop it ..if you want to continue seeding you just have to start the torrent ..if you are getting from a private tracker make sure you are logged in and that the torrent is still registered with the tracker..but your client should tell you that ..as for private trackers ..thats all i use ....i like my file's fast and all the 0day stuff...and its fun ...pu at all my sites..:-P

Well I replied to late but it's demonoid.com
I'm working on getting into some new ones like torrentleech.

I was pretty sure about the ratio thing so glad to here I was right.Really that's what a tracker does it tracks the torrent so you will in almost every case get the credit.I have stopped mine for days and restarted it and they still gave me the credit.
