Hi guys, I'm after suggestion for some good 2 player games, what I had in mind is preferrably something like the Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors series (beat'em up games)... no racing/sports games please :) thanks!!!

The warriors is a great two player game. I'd say thats one of the best beat'em up 2 player games out there. You can do all sorts of stuff with two players in the warriors. Like story missions with 2 people, and theirs this bonus thing were you can make gang then fight other gangs you made up in afew different types of modes. Like just beat up the other gang with 3 man gang and win or beat up the other gang with a 9 man gang. You can also do king of the hill (my favourite) its whoever stays on the longest wins plus their is even more modes then that so you should defentely check that game out if you havent already.

Another one great two player game would would be (although its not beat'em up style still fighting though) soulcalibur 2 or 3 that is a great one on one fighting game dunno if your interested but its pretty fun (if you know a lot of moves).

Had a look and the warriors seems interesting, will give that a try sometime. Can't find any info on the kill of the hill though, didn't find that game in gamefaqs or IGN...?

Yeah I've played the soul calibur series, nice game (finished it a few times) and I like it but not something I'm after in this thread :)

are you talking about co-op games or just two player like versus mode??

i dont think they make enough co-op games, but my favorite is time crisis, or any light gun game. As for versus mode, for the type of game your talking about, there arent too many. dynasty warriors is the ebst for that and probaly one of the few

I dont know if you know this or you just made a spelling mistake but its called "king of the hill' and its a little mini bonus game in the warriors.

Yeah and you should aslo try mortal konmbat shalion monks like kiwi1 said that is also a great two player beat em up style game. Also Onimusha Dawn of Dreams has two player though but you have to activate it with a cheat only and plus the camera only follows one person so the second player could go off the screen.

more co-op games I guess.

@s2god
Yeah finished all the time crisis series too :)

kiwi1
Hmm guess I could give LOTR a try, think a friend's got it so I can borrow it off her and give it a try sometime

face123
ahh, I thought you meant that kill of the hill is a game itself :P I didn't know onimusha had 2 player mode... but guess you are right, even for 1 player I don't think the camera design was the best, but oh well, great game never the less

Yeah shaolin monks is pretty cool, its not like the other MK's, its a co-op scrolling beat em up where you fight multiple enemies with a pretty good story line, you can still do the fatalities even though its not the usual one on one stuff, aquire new powers etc. Worth a look.

@vegeta66 Dan168 said that he wanted ps2 games. So not a pc online game. He also said beat 'em up style game i dont think silk road is beat em up style plus online is not two player it is a whole bunch of people so thats almost the opposite that he was looking for exept for the fact that it is a video game.

for onimusha dawn of dreams if you want to play co op mode(two player mode)At the beginning screen, where it says press start, both controllers hold onto the following buttons: R1,R2,L1,L2, and second controller press start then co op mode will activate. The mode will work if you have two people in party then second player will be controllable
