to any of u who have played the prey demo single player is all right kind of wierd when a box tips over and thats where u gotta go, but the online is TERRIBLE, it was leggy confusing felt like u were tumbling and the best weapon is the fricken wrench prey wtf?

NAH I just played prey it was the first thing I downloaded on live and was my first game on 360.I liked it but I didn't play the multi-player yet.It was trippy like a halo slash doom 3 but with crazy stuff like the portals and boxes.

random question how long should the downloads take on average because everything i download that is a demo other than arcade games take like an hour almost lets say 45 minutes and that shat is crazy. I have a good connection and never get lag online so im not getting that or is that standard time for download of a demo? i know they differentiate in size but in gerenal...and btw ty cobb is it worth my time to download the prey demo?

The prey demo is over a gb and took about 45 minutes on my connection.Yes I like prey and think it's worth a look dnglebry.I understand it's been in development for a decade but I like it.It's from the makers of duke nukem lol(seriously).
Like I said I have not tryed the multi-player so I can't say.

the game is weird..its been in development for like a milinium..and came up with "THIS"...i agree..my reaction was...wtf?!i think they tried to make a game that was "differnt" and they took it a little to far..from what ive seen i give it a 2 out of 10

i must say that prey demo was terrible, i agree, it reminded me of condemned a little but condemned was a much better game. Some of the scenes were pretty cool but the game just didnt have it.

i played the demo and it wasnt bad nor good to me. but then again fps arent my genre im a sports junkie so what can i say. I love call of duty 2 and some other fps but yeh it wasnt as bad as i have heard people say(prey demo). I cant wait for gears of war...3rd person shooter looking great.saints row demo is coming out august 1st, the idea of releasing demos is kinda double edged sword. I bought fight night because i loved the demo but i didnt buy hitman and i wont buy prey because of the demos. Great feature for consoles to finnaly have...

I think the reason I liked it was it was unique but also not.For instance it had stole alot from halo and doom3 but it had some really different stuff to and was kinda trippy.
ive seen so many fps games that they all seem alike now but this one was different and fresh.
I've always loved tripped out games like mdk back in the day.

lost plannet best demo so far, or at least best shooter demo also considering that it is not coming out for at least another 6 mounths.

I actually love the single player on the Prey demo. The multiplayer was seriously flawed though.
On the topic of Lost Planet being great. I dont get how it is that great. Kill some spiders, blow cars up so you can stand the cold..... did i miss something? (I am not being sarcastic....i am 100% serious)

well for me it had everything a shooter must have, great graphics, aliens (some large some small) a great environment, some sort of heavy weapon (in this case the massive mech things) and also great gameplay along side great physics (this is portrayed best when i shot the massive alien spider thing with a shotgun and eventually took of both of its arms therefore leaving it helpless on the floor strugling, but it does not stop there, as it is strugling for life i threw a grenade which hit the spider and bounced back a little towards me, everything blew up and i went flying in some metal poles that fell on top of me.)
anyways what i am trying to say is, that even if you play the level 5 times, i garantee that you will see something different everytime, in the form of gameplay or physics.

In your definition of a fantastic shooting game, Lost Planet must be very exciting to demo. My view of a great shooter greatly differs from yours. I really dont care about the physics in MOST games.

I also think this game/demo is horrible. I hope the 360 steps up it's game. Stupid games like Hitman and this are not good for the system's image. The 360 needs more gems like Rockstar's Table Tennis

oh hey, yeah i have not been on for quite some time, probably b/c i found a good part time job and am spending all the money on things like HDTV, xbox 360 games, etc, etc, and have not had as much time to come on these forums, plus i got sick and tired of trying to reason with the fanboys (imposible).
but anyways:
i think all these games and demos out now are great but personally i am waiting for two games this summer, saints row and the lord of the rings rts game. but those are just starters when it comes to games like gears of war and test drive.

It is good to see someone else actually working and spending their hard earned money to buy 360 games. There are a bunch of low life thieves on this board who don't know what it is to actually work for something. All they know in life is to sit behind a computer and watch porn and download bootlegs all day.

yes,the single player mode,was intresting,but nothing spectacular,te graphics are pretty good..and online well is horrible,it's like quake,except evverybody moves 5 times faster...not really fun at all
