DVD Fab Decrypter. You can get it free from www.dvdidle.com. It will only rip the movie to your Hard Drive. DVD Shrink is a free application. You should be able to download it from the web.

If I always hear voices surrounding me, does it mean Im crazy or that I hear in Dolby 5.1?

hi guys...

facing this issue:

downloaded MTR to copy a dvd for work. Its a movie/video dvd.

Its weird though...
After extracting the entire dvd onto the desktop and just dragging the files onto the blank dvd, Powermac G5 dun seem to be able to play the video on the dvd. (reads "not supported") ~ whereas the original copy works fine on the mac

But however, when i try on my Phillips DVD player and a Sony Vaio laptop, it plays well alright. But not on another Panasonic Dvd player.

Am wondering if i missed out any important steps during the burning process.

Read some threads and one suggested the following: (have not tried yet)
- as the dvd have only got Video_TS file, they suggested me to insert a blank Audio_TS file saying that some dvd players may want to see that even though that is empty. But the strange thing is that the original dvd plays fine on those that the duplicated dvd does not.

- does burning with Toast help?

thks

another way is called using handbrake and idvd or imovie

handbrake converts dvd video into mpeg 4 for use with front row but these videos can also be used in i dvd or imovie to convert back to dvd
