Hi all-is it possible to save movies to hdd of the 360? like AVI or DivX? Can it be done via usb drive?

nope xbox wont do anythin with DivX and AVI, but u can convert them to anotha format that will work, but not sure what format it is, there is a tool sumwere that does it.
it can stream mpeg, mpeg2 and wmv

TMPGEnc will convert AVI to mpeg. About the best tool out there to do the job. Although there are many tools out there that can also do it. If interested check out the videohelp dot com website.
