ok so i bought my 360 today...SWEEEEEET...lol..okay so now i want to flash it..im reading this tutoial and everything is swell but i get confused when i see
Mtkflash.exe must have the Xbox360 Drive on a SATA channel, not an ide channel (ie not with SATA-to-IDE converter).
how do i put it on a sata channel?

Make sure your SATA ports are set to NATIVE/IDE mode NOT RAID
how do i do that also?

I have no clue but check the Samsung DvD Rom and see if it has a jumper or something . My 360 is in for repairs , so I can't hack mine to tell you for sure . sorry

I have the Hitachi Drive and I see theres a Wire Swap to Boot to Something , I'm like WTF , This is nuts . Im scared to even try it 0_0 Hope everything goes ok XbOxOwNeR . Pittfan

hey pitt... look dont use that crap wire trick...use the slax live cd....better choice you can short out and ruin the drive if you do something wrong with the wire trick...USE SLAX LIVE CD

i just opened my xbox 360...first day and im ansy to hack it..lol...well anyways it is a bitch to open...lol...if you want to open it and not void the warranty, you need to put a hair dryer to max on hot air and blow on the sticker and it peels off like a charm....just some advice...thanx everyone

good advice, works to remove and re-apply other stickers as well, i used it on one of my ps2's. use a tweasers to help assist the sticker off, and try not to heat up the entire sticker at once, as it gets extremely hot, also don't be afraid to let it cool down once and a while by backing the blowdryer up.
