It was worse, have made some headway. Got my task manager back, regedit only works if you type regedit.EXE. This (or these) malwares have disabled my help & support access locally, have created fake network services and have evaded capture by 5 FIVE diferent anti malware/virus programs-- the exact ones recommended on this site. I'm on fifth day at 8 + hours a day and about ready to format and reinstall. How is it possible 5 AV programs can't do their job?
Any help would be hugely appreciated...

Since I last posted, the malware has now disabled the Mcafee Virus scan program. An attempt to right click the M in the tray and enable results in the computer being locked up for 5 minutes, then the M is still black in color- disabled.
FYI, from a couple of visits today, the mcafee help site seems worthless, I'll spare you the details unless requested.
I've done the Killbox and the smitfraud routine, as well as this really cool program Sysinternals Process Explorer- but I kill the bad process, and it comes back-maybe not right away, but this virus/trojan acts unkillable like that terminator who was after the governator.
I think my patience will only last a little longer... oh, and one more btw, at first infection there were popups for VONAGE phone service, if they have to resort to adware/spyware/malware to sell their product, they are the spam scum of the earth and should have to answer for such criminal marketing practices, imho.

Hi snakestik,
Only one antivirua and one firewall in one computer can run efficiently. You have too much off them. Ewido isn't problem, keep it :) You have to choice one off each.
Remove or shutdown rest antivirus and firewall programs.

Ok, reduced the programs running. The Mcafee appears disabled in the systray, but appears to be running in the hijack this report. Note that the virus creates different problems for different user accounts on this machine. Also, ewido kills an exe called Adware.Agent everytime it boots. It is always in a different path location.

After reading the Hijack This report, apparently uninstalling is the only way to turn off the multiple antivirus programs that continue to run after attempting to turn them off in the systray. Is it recommended I uninstall all of them except ewido? Thanks...

Click start > run > type in box "services.msc" and click ok
Find those services :
McDetect.exe
McShield
McTskshd.exe
mcupdmgr.exe
select one by one, click shoutdown or stop
Click start > run > type in box "msconfig" and click ok
Goto startup sheet
Unmark all lines where is MCAFEE mentioned Click USE and close
Scan hijack and check:

Thanks, nice to hear "much better". Ewido killed another Adware.Agent during last boot. Will I have to repeat this process for the other user account?
