So far it plays all my backups....except the New Super Mario Bros....I try to start it and the screens just go black. I tried no trim rom, directly copy, etc. Still nothing....

Also I can't seem to play any GBA games. What's this load IPS thing? Am I supposed to put something there?

Make sure you have the latest M3 firmware and gamemanager.
You can download them from here:

It could be possible that the Mario rom is bad, re-dump the rom - as you do own the original, right ;-)

The settings I used were Normal Load, Trim Rom, No Software reset.

I havn't had any trouble playing GBA games on my M3, try turning off the real time clock, i've heard that can cause problems.

If that still dosn't work, try some of the other settings.

@wh03lse
The settings effect how the game is loaded on the M3, Direct Load runs the game striaght from the CF/SD card where as Normal Load copies the game into the M3's SRAM then runs the game from there. There is also the 1xDMA and 4xDMA options for the Direct Load method, this is basically how quickly the game is read from the CF/SD card.

Trim Rom is just that, it trims off any garbage data from the rom, so that it takes up less space on the CF/SD card.

The M3 allows for the use of a button combination in-game that will quit the game and take you back to the M3's menu, some games are not compatible with this, so it must be turned off in order for it to work.
