ehhh, well if u cant get yr hands on a firmware 1.5, try to get anything but a factory 2.5 and 2.6, this way u could downgrade it with the new downgrader out

Electronics:
PSP Firmware History
2.0 -> 1.5 -> 2.71 SE-A -> 2.71 SE-B -> 1.5 -> 2.71 SE-B" -> 1.5 -> 2.71 SE-C -> 1.5 -> 3.02 OE-A -> 3.02 OE-B

I wouldnt recomend it....It is very difficult to get ur hands on a v1.5 or even a 2.0 unless you get it from a website for psphacking...Liksung er something i heard had some 1.5's. However, their probably sold out, this was some time ago.. An ebay seller will say "hey PSP v1.5" and you get it and its like 2.71 and ur really screwed, but if you do want one, go to the pspmodchip site and buy a premodded psp for maybe 300.00 and thats all your homebrew needs right there!! So check with a premodded psp (Undiluted Platinum) is the name of the chip....too hard to do it urself unless ur a pro (something like "23 wires I heard")

hey can someone help me put an image here?

I have purchased a few psp recently, brand new, not used. And none of them had a firmware version over 2.01. So you could upgrade it to 2.5 then downgrade it.

when you go in to gamstation or game ask to see what v the psp is. and if you have a cash converters near you check in there they might have a 1.5v and there cheap.......... ebay.co.uk has 1.5v but there at a high price but you might find a cheap 1 on there. and realy make sure that the psp is in good condition as its second hand you dont want it falling apart when you get home 1 thing check the door on the psp were the games go in somtimes they r a bit loose and fill like they will drop off in a week or 2. there is a mod chip coming out but its about £100 i think and when it comes out i dont no??!!
