HELP - Am I doing something wrong? (Devhook+ISO)

Ok - I have a 1.5 PSP with Devhook 0.41d installed and 1 ISO (Street Fighter Alpha)

Devhook launches fine and I can launch 2.5 Firmware on it and even go online with the Web Browser.

But I can't figure out how to run the ISO I have. (I have it in an "ISO" folder on the PSP root directory)


This is what I do - tell me if I'm missing a step.

1. I launch Devhook.

2. I set the DevHook settings as follows:

UMD Select - Street Figher Alpha.iso
UMD Mount - ISO ANYUMD
UMD Version - 2.xx-->2.0
Firmware - 2.5
CPU Cock - 222/111MhZ
Boot Select - Reboot XMB

3. I click START

4. The 2.5 Firmware Loads fine

5. Nothing else happens. The ISO does not load, but I have full access to all the 2.5 Firmware features (Web Browser, Freeplayer, etc...)


------Am I supposed to click a button combo or something to load the ISO at this point? Or is the ISO supposed to load automatically?




It seems like Devhook loaded the 2.5 Firmware perfectly, but for some reason the ISO is not loading - I don't know why.

please assist?

BTW - I tried 3 different versions of the 0.41d Devhook and they all do the same exact thing. I get to 2.5 but the ISO is not loading.

you tried just clicking on the umd when your in 2.5?
im not 100% sure street fighter works so...

after devhook has loaded the 2.5 firmware you have to put a game umd in the drive for the iso to show up as the game umd

AH - I see. So it won't work unless there is a UMD in the drive?

hi i just used devhook 0.40 to play streetfighter alpha3 on a umd it upgraded my firmware to 2.5 how do i return it back to 1.5 please help me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

switch ya psp off it will reset itself back to 1.5

it doesnt actually upfate the firmware...it emulates it.....so it sort of temperarily lets you 'use' 2.50 firmware.

dont worry when you see your on 2.5....unless you actually click upgrade to 2.50, then be worried
