hello guys...

After a lot of struggle..i was able to installl magic keys 2 in my ps2...i have the version 14...

i had a backed up game...nfs most wanted...tried tht disc moved...but gave a disc readin error..

i used memorex dvd - r...and used dvd decryptor...did basic iso read and iso write at 1x..dint change ne settings...

also tried..it on verbatim dvd - r..with the same iso file.. ( obtained from dvd decrpor..) but burnt on Nero 6 burning rom..did not change any settings...still the same problem..disc read error..

my writer cant booktype it to dvd rom before burning..cud this b a problem..?

can some1 tell me wat am i doin wrng..! wat media shd i use..? or how hd i back it up properly..

Yeah those memorex are absolute rubbish!, take a look in the stuttering games sticky above and you'll see Memorex are junk. Yeah you shouldnt go for anything less than Verbatim or Tayio yudens are the best u can get i hear. So if you tried it on a Verb, then what exactly is happening here you have 2b more specific m8. One thing i can say is u you will need to rebuild the ISO, using isobuster and cdvdgen or gnie expert tool which is quicker&easier. You can get them by searching on google or on here. EA games especially need rebuilding, there's just always something about them that causes a problem.

thanks....i aint gnna buy ne more memorex...however i tried burnin it on maxell too..but tht too dint work...

has any1 tried nfs most wanted with swap magic..? i used dvd decryptor with maxell...had the iso..from iso read..seleced the mdr file..whhile iso write..

it wrote the whole dvd..said process complete..and dvd came out..however..the dvd decrytor windiw..was still open..i tried to close it..and it said...are u sure u want to exit..!? cud these be the problem..did it not finalize..it..shd i slect verify dvd..while iso write..wat options do we need to change in dvd decrytpor while iso read and write..?

The way your typing it's hard to understand what ur talking about. When usin decrypter you simply do
ISO->read and ISO->write you dont need to use the mds file it makes, just select the iso file when you write. And also make sure you're not burning at more than 4x.

ohh somewhere I read u need to select the mds file...while writing? also dvd - r should work fine with ps2..rite? as I am not using dvd = r and booktypin it to dvd-rom.

also when all of u use dvd decryptor..once the writing is complete..does the drive throw the disc out...for me it does..but the decryptor window is still open..and when i select to close tht..it says are you sure you want to cancel the process..so this makes me feel as if it the burning is not complete..whereas the cd is already out..! does tht happen with u guys too..?
