hey all,

i live in north central indiana, and want to do this firmware hack on my 360, but i have a laptop and read it cannot be done with one. and do not really want to pull my families desk top apart to attach the dvd drive of the 360 to it. also i do not fully understand every step of the hack. so if anyone that has successfully done this hack and would like to help a fellow member out, please let me know.

could you possibly email me the files for the ss merger program along with any other software i will need to back up my games? after re-reading the tuts about 10 times today, i understand what i need to do in order to apply the new firmware so i am going to attempt it later this week, and will probably have some questions on it.
