I've been looking into playing backed up games on my PS2. Im just checking if I understand all the stuff I need to do it. First, I was looking at buying Swap Magic 3.6 Plus, and SlideCard off of modchip.ca.

I also need a DVD burner. I was looking at Samsung SH-W162 16X DVD+-RW 5X Dual Layer DVD Writer Black /W SW OEM on ncix.com. Problem is, right now I only have access to a really, really old computer. Win 98, Pentium III 533 MhZ. So, for now, will the burner work with this computer. And, do I have all the stuff listed that I need? Thanks.

for the swap magic im pretty sure u have everything, im not sure tho bcuz i dont use one. as for the burner, i wouldnt do it on an old computer like that. quality and speed might be like blah

Your computer will probably work, but you will probably need to burn at 2x. Also, just checking, you have an older fat ps2 right (slide card doesn't work with slim ps2)? Also, i checked that site, and it seems to be a little expensive (foundmy.com has the set for $12 if you don't mind swap magic 3.3).

P3 should be ok with a DVD burner - I have a P3 450 and it works fine at 2x, not sure about 4x though...
