How to remove ps2 slim warranty sticker

I bought the flip top case for my ps2 slim v14 and the warranty sticker is on the top of the screw that I have to take out to install the flip top case... Does anyone know any tricks that they could tell on how to take the warraty sticker out without damaging it and then glue it back?

That's weird - I've never heard of that before.

But, and this is just my opinion.. the warranty isn't worth a damn anyway. If something does go wrong with your ps2 and you want to claim under the warranty, you'd have to uninstall any mods you have made to the console. Plus I think they'd be able to tell that you have unscrewed the lid etc anyway. And last but not least the warranty is only 3 months on some consoles and the chances of soemthing going wrong with it in that time is very minimal.. plus it's only £99(depednant on location) to buy another brand new one.. it's just not worth the hassle of even worrying about warranty. That's the price of 2-3 games.. if you factor in how much you'll save by backing up your discs and keeping the originals in mint condition that's worth the risk IMO.

I can understand your position, but if you're that worried about the warranty all I can say is wait until after the warranty expires before doing any mods to the ps2 or buy the ghost switches etc instead... that's not an attack at you or anything, i'm just saying that if you want to be on the safe side that's all you can do.. good luck with it whatever you decide to do.

I've heard about how people use that to heat the glue that's behind the warranty sticker, but never tried it myself so I don't know if it works... but I agree with paddymail, the warranty isn't worth that much, and I wouldn't worry too much about it.
