Hi,

I have backed up the above game and works fine (PAL), but when I go to save the game it stays on the "please do not turn off your playstation2" page for absolutly AGES! Any ideas fellas?

Thanks.

Here's another problem. First of all, I am using a HDD (USBadvanced) for this game. When i start this game, I can see the intro movie. Afterward it freeze. Is someone having the same problem?

Xint,
I had the same problem with GT4 backedup to DVD with the Toxic fix.

I could get it to wrk sometimes if i didn't let the opening movie/promo play.

Long story short, I burnt it again on a new disc and all was well, I think my problem was a dud DVD disc.

Use better media! Get some Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R and back it up again, burn it at 2x and it should work flawlessly! Just like mines.

Im using Ridiscs and burn all my games at 2x, never had any probs before with any of my games. Im going to rip the DVD again to see if maybe i got a bad image off of it in the first place.

Ridisk, aren't that great. Sure some games may work with it, but a lot of them will not, and you will be putting extra stress on the laser lens and burn it out quicker than it should

Mostof us here really reccomend better media to be used. I learned that the hard way after mines burned out by using Ritek G05 branded discs, which is the same ID as ridisk. If it still doesen't work though, I guarantee you it will after putting it on better media..
